3 foreign individuals arrested for engaging in spy activities。

China's Ministry of State Security recently arrested three Philippine nationals suspected of espionage activities within Chinese territory.

David Servañez, a Philippine citizen residing in China, was frequently spotted near Chinese military sites, displaying suspicious behaviour.

Following an investigation, authorities discovered that David was conducting espionage and intelligence-gathering operations in China under the remote guidance of a Philippine handler identified as "Herrera."

Further investigation revealed that Herrera was also instructing two other Philippine nationals in China, Albert Endencia and Nathalie Plizardo, to gather sensitive information related to China.

With sufficient evidence collected, authorities lawfully detained all three individuals.

Through interrogation and investigation, it was confirmed that Philippine intelligence agencies had been actively collecting information on China's military deployments.

Since 2021, Philippine military intelligence officer Richie Herrera has recruited David, Albert, and Nathalie, providing them with espionage training before deploying them to China on clandestine intelligence missions.

The case remains under investigation, and legal proceedings are ongoing.
