A 6.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Tainan City of China's Taiwan, at 12:17 a.m. Tuesday (Beijing Time), according to China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
15 people have been injured and are receiving treatment in local hospitals, according to local authorities. The tremors were strongly felt across Taiwan, and also in cities like Quanzhou, Xiamen, Fuzhou, and Putian in the Chinese mainland. There were also reports of shaking in cities such as Ningbo, Shanghai, and Hangzhou.
