Trump's move comes shortly after fellow snooker legend Ronnie O'Sullivan, who also obtained Hong Kong residency in October of this year. Trump, who has claimed 30 ranking titles in his illustrious career, joins O'Sullivan as the second snooker superstar to become a Hong Kong resident, solidifying the city as a haven for elite athletes.

The "Quality Migrant Admission Scheme" was launched by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government in June 2006 with the goal of attracting highly skilled individuals and exceptional talents from around the world. The initiative is designed to promote Hong Kong's economic development and social progress by welcoming professionals from various fields, including sports, technology, and business.
