  • Key changes in the rankings of the top 5 strongest passports for 2024

1.Singapore – 91.27
Singapore maintains its position as the world's strongest passport, scoring 91.27. The Singaporean passport offers its holders extensive global mobility, allowing visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to over 190 countries. Singapore was ranked 2nd last year but has reclaimed the top spot in 2024.
2.Finland – 90.88
Finland has seen a dramatic rise in the rankings, moving from 7th place in 2023 to 2nd place this year with a score of 90.88. This increase reflects Finland's strengthening international ties and greater travel freedom.
3.Spain – 90.87
Spain's passport, with a score of 90.87, drops one place from 2nd last year to 3rd in 2024. Despite the slight decline, Spain remains a top contender, offering substantial visa-free access across the world, particularly within the EU.
4.Denmark – 90.63
Denmark's passport makes a significant leap, rising from 10th place in 2023 to 4th this year, with a score of 90.63. This shift is largely due to Denmark's expanding diplomatic influence and enhanced global mobility.
5.Italy – 90.58
Italy holds its position in the top five, ranking 5th with a score of 90.58. Italy's passport offers broad access, especially within the European Union and to other major destinations around the world. However, Italy has dropped from 4th place in 2023.
