  Australia has officially launched the "Frequent Traveller Stream" visa for Chinese citizens, which offers a validity of up to 10 years. The new visa policy has now come into effect.

  This visa falls under Australia's Subclass 600 visa category.

  • Key features of the Frequent Traveller Stream visa include:

1.A maximum validity of 10 years.

2.The visa holder can stay in Australia for up to 3 months per entry.

3.The visa is designed for travellers who plan to visit Australia frequently.

  • Key changes in Australia's visa policy include:

1.Removal of restrictions for Chinese passport holders

Previously, Chinese citizens had to be physically present in China to apply for this visa. This restriction has now been lifted, allowing Chinese citizens to apply regardless of their location.

2.Expansion of eligible countries


  In addition to China, the new policy also applies to several other Asian countries, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
  According to the Department of Home Affairs, Chinese applicants for the Frequent Traveller Stream visa must meet the following basic requirements:
1.Hold a valid Chinese passport.
2.Provide a complete travel itinerary and supporting documents at the time of application.
3.Ensure compliance with the visa's stay limits and conditions during the validity period.
  The specific application process is gradually being published on the official website of the Australian Department of Home Affairs.
