A new and powerful cold front has quietly arrived.
From December 1 to 2, temperatures are expected to drop by more than 10°C in many areas, with some parts of Northeast China seeing temperature drops exceeding 15°C.
In Northeast China, cities like Harbin, Changchun, and Shenyang will experience a significant drop in their daily high temperatures, with declines of more than 10°C. Harbin's temperature will plummet from around 0°C on December 1 to -15°C by December 2, while Shenyang will see a drop from 10.2°C to -3°C. Beijing's high temperature will also fall from about 15°C on December 1 to around 6°C on December 2, bringing a sharp chill to the city. After this cold front, another strong cold wave is expected to hit the central and eastern regions from December 6 to 8, bringing strong winds and further temperature drops. Over the next seven days, temperatures in these areas will continue to decline, especially in North China and Northeast China, where the fluctuations will be particularly pronounced. By next weekend, much of the country will experience significantly lower temperatures. For southern China, the impact of the cold air will be less noticeable in terms of temperature drops but will bring rainfall. Starting December 2, as the cold front moves southward and moist, warm air from the southwest strengthens, southern regions will see increased rainfall. The weather will change rapidly over the coming days. Please stay alert to the fluctuating temperatures and take necessary precautions to stay warm and safe.
