Shanghai Disneyland Announces Changes to Child Ticket Policy

Shanghai Disney Resort has unveiled a significant update to its child ticket and annual pass policies, moving away from the height-based standard that has been in place since the park's opening. Effective December 23, 2024, the park will adopt a new age-based system to align with its real-name ticketing policy and facilitate smoother verification using official identification.

Under the new policy:
Child Tickets: Available for children aged 3 to 11 (inclusive) on the day of their visit.
Child Annual Passes: Available for children aged 3 to 11 (inclusive) at the time of purchase.
Free Entry: Granted to children under the age of 3 on the day of their visit.
The resort emphasized that this adjustment would simplify the entry process and provide a more consistent experience for families, ensuring that age verification can be conducted seamlessly through official documentation.
