Starting November 13, China Eastern Airlines and Spain's Air Europa have launched a code-share service offering seamless flights connecting Shanghai, Madrid, and Lima.

Passengers on this route can enjoy streamlined travel: boarding passes for all segments are issued at the departure airport, and checked luggage is transferred directly to the final destination. At Madrid's airport, passengers can transfer within the same terminal without needing to recheck luggage or obtain a transit visa.

Peru, home to a significant Chinese diaspora, stands to benefit from this new service. The "air bridge" provides more options for travelers, including overseas Chinese in Peru visiting China, while fostering deeper exchanges between these two ancient civilizations.
