According to a report from the National Immigration Administration on November 17, authorities in Guangzhou have successfully intercepted five foreign nationals attempting to enter China using forged or altered documents.

On November 15, immigration officers at the Baiyun Border Inspection Station, under the Guangzhou Border Inspection General Station, were conducting routine checks when they identified and detained the five individuals. These individuals had presented counterfeit or tampered documents in a bid to illegally enter the country.

The suspects, whose nationalities have not been disclosed, were immediately stopped by the border officers and, in accordance with China's Exit and Entry Administration Law, were denied entry to the country.
This interception is part of a broader crackdown on fraudulent travel documents and the increasing use of counterfeit credentials in attempts to bypass immigration controls. Authorities have reminded the public and foreign travelers to adhere to legal travel protocols, stressing that anyone attempting to enter the country with falsified documents will face serious consequences.
