On November 14, Guangyuan City in Sichuan Province issued its first "Five-Star Card".

On the afternoon of November 14, Ukrainian national Nasijia (known in English as Benko Anastasiia), accompanied by her husband from Guangyuan, Sichuan Province, received her new permanent residency card for foreigners—the "Five-Star Card"—at the Guangyuan Exit-Entry Reception Hall. This marks the first "Five-Star Card" issued in Guangyuan since the new version of the card was introduced.

Nasijia applied for the permanent residency card on April 26, 2024, based on family reunification at the Guangyuan Exit-Entry Hall. The Guangyuan Municipal Public Security Bureau's Exit-Entry Management Division promptly processed her application, assisted with the necessary paperwork, and successfully facilitated her receipt of the foreigner's permanent residence card for family reunification.

"I'm so happy to finally receive China's 'Five-Star Card'! Thank you all very much!" Nasijia expressed her gratitude after receiving the card. For Nasijia, this milestone is not just about securing her residency but also about building a future in China with her family.
The "Five-Star Card" is a symbol of China's increasingly open and inclusive approach to foreign nationals who have made significant contributions to the country. It allows permanent residents to enjoy many of the same rights as Chinese citizens, including the ability to live and work freely across China without the need for additional visas or permits. With the "Five-Star Card," foreign nationals now have a more streamlined and accessible path to becoming part of China's growing global community.
