1.Introduction to the Huizhou Hangzhou Ancient Road

The Hui-Hang Ancient Trail begins in Fuling Town, Anhui Province, and ends in Zhejitian Village,  Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, stretching about 20 kilometers. First built during the Tang Dynasty, it is one of China's most famous ancient trails, following the "Silk Road" and the "Tea-Horse Road."

The trail is not only a feast of natural beauty but also a carrier of Huizhou culture, showcasing the wisdom and resilience of the Hui merchants and the prosperity and heritage of Huizhou culture.

Highlights

Yixiantian (A Thread of Sky) is a distinctive rockformation commonly found among the peaks of famous mountains in China, featuring unique and spectacular scenery. Yixiantian is most often seen in limestone areas, formed through a special erosion process.  As visitors walk through, they can look up and see only a thin strip of sky, which is how it got its name.

The Blue Sky Pit is located in the eastern part of the ancient road and is the highest point of the ancient road, with an altitude of 1050 meters. It is named after the two peaks that form a "concave" shape, with blue sky and white clouds embedded in them.

Buddha's Palm Peak is located on the left side of Tiandu Peak in the Huangshan Scenic Area, with an elevation of 1,690 meters, and is one of the 36 minor peaks. The peak features five towering rocks that resemble an outstretched giant palm, which is why it is called Buddha's Palm Peak. When surrounded by mist, the split stones at the peak form the unique sight of "Five Elders Rowing a Boat," which looks captivating from a cable car view.

"The First Pass of Jiangnan" is an important checkpoint on the Hui-Hang Ancient Trail, located in the eastern part of Fuling Township, Jixi County, Anhui Province, at an elevation of 424 meters. It serves as a key passage connecting the Hui-Hang Ancient Trail and is also the main route to Qingliang Peak.
