The highly anticipated 2024 China International Import Expo (CIIE) is almost here! This guide has all the essential details on the event, from dates and location to ticketing. For those interested in attending, don't forget to apply for tickets in advance!
Date: November 5-10, 2024
Location: National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) 国家会展中心（上海）
Ticket Information: Tickets for individual visitors (not affiliated with an organization) are still available now. The tickets are for November 9-10. Each ticket is priced at 50 RMB per day and can be purchased via the official CIIE website at

About the CIIE
The CIIE is the world's first import-themed, national-level expo, reflecting China's commitment to opening its market to the world. Since its inception in 2018, the CIIE has become a significant platform for international procurement, investment promotion, cultural exchange, and cooperative ventures. Over six successful editions, the expo has attracted 181 countries and regions, hosted approximately 16,000 exhibitors, and generated an impressive $420 billion in intended trade deals.
Temporary Permits for Exhibitors
Exhibiting companies that require a temporary permit should apply through the Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Bureau. Applications can be submitted electronically to the following email: shtsspc2024＠163.com.
