Foreigner Cheated by Agency, Caught Using Forged Visa & Stamps to Exit, Then...
Immigration officers at Beijing Capital International Airport uncovered a case of forged documents involving a passenger identified as Ashen (pseudonym). While on duty, officers from the Beijing Border Inspection Station detected suspicious foreign visa and Chinese entry and exit stamps in Ashen's passport.
Upon closer inspection, it was confirmed that the foreign visa and two Chinese immigration stamps in the passport were counterfeit.
According to Ashen, the passport had been handed over to an intermediary to obtain the foreign visa, which he acknowledged was known for its strict application process. The intermediary had allegedly promised to "simplify the paperwork" and expedite the visa issuance. However, Ashen claimed to have been unaware of any illegal practices involved in the process.
