Foreign Woman Penalized for Blind Dating on Tourist Visa
Since the launch of the summer campaign, the Exit and Entry Administration Brigade of the Linxian Public Security Bureau has intensified efforts to identify and address issues related to "Three Non" foreigners (those who are illegally entering, residing, or working in China). As part of this effort, the brigade handled an illegal entry case on August 13, according to local media.
Upon investigation, it was found that a woman of Laotian nationality had entered Linxian on a tourist visa with the intention of meeting a man for a marriage arrangement, an activity inconsistent with her visa category. According to Article 71, Item 1 of the Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, her actions constituted a violation, specifically illegal entry by obtaining a visa under false pretenses.
The woman has been subjected to administrative penalties in accordance with the law.
