Beijing Unveils Eight Measures to Facilitate Entry and Exit

  On July 25, Beijing's Public Security Exit-Entry Administration announced eight new measures to facilitate entry and exit for the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS):

  1.Entry and Exit Service Desks: Service desks will be set up at the CIFTIS venues (National Convention Center and Shougang Park) to provide policy consultation and facilitate entry and exit document processing for participants.

  2.Port Visa Processing: Foreign participants arriving in Beijing can apply for port visas at Capital Airport and Daxing Airport with their invitation letters.
  3.Online Accommodation Registration: Foreign visitors can complete their accommodation registration online for added convenience.
  4.Visa Services for Business Visitors: Foreign business professionals continuing their activities in China, such as business negotiations or project investments, can receive on-site consultation for visa extensions, renewals, and replacements. They can also access these services at 21 foreigner exit-entry service locations in Beijing.


  5.Permanent Residency Applications: Eligible foreign senior executives from companies can apply for permanent residency in China with a recommendation letter.

  6.Business Registration for Chinese Companies: Chinese enterprises can receive assistance with business registration for travel to Hong Kong and Macau.

  7.For Passport Loss: Foreign participants who lose their passports can obtain a "Foreign Passport Loss Report" from nearby police stations or foreigner exit-entry service windows.

  8.Document Replacement for Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Business Visitors: Business visitors from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan who lose their entry and exit documents can apply for replacements through a green channel.
