Another City Raises Salary Standard for Foreigners’ Work Permits

  On July 24, the Science and Technology Bureau of Shantou City, Guangdong Province, released the salary income calculation standards for 2024 foreigners applying for work permits in Shantou.

  According to the Shantou Municipal Bureau of Statistics, the average annual salary for non private employees (including labor dispatch personnel) in urban areas is 97346 yuan (an average of 8112 yuan per month). 

  As of the date of this notice, the calculation standard for foreign work permit income in Shantou City has been adjusted as follows: 4 times the average social salary is 32449 yuan/month; Six times the average social wage is 48673 yuan/month.
