On July 24, the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange(CSCSE) issued the Announcement on Strengthening the Certification Review of Academic Degree Certification of Some Foreign Colleges and Universities.
The original announcement is as follows:
To protect the rights and interests of international students and maintain order in the study abroad market, our center continues to monitor certification data and relevant reports. Recently, there have been significant anomalies in the certification data of master's and doctoral degrees from the following institutions, coupled with frequent related reports. According to Article 28 of the "Measures for the Certification of Overseas Academic Degrees," our center has decided to initiate a strengthened review process for the certification applications of master's and doctoral degrees from these institutions, effective immediately:

2.Philippine Christian University
3.St Dominic Savio College
4.The Philippine Women"s University
5.AMA University
6.Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas
7.Graduate University of Mongolia
8.Ikh Zasag International University
9.Mongolia Ider University
10.Otgontenger University
11."Zasagt Khan" Institute
12.Andhra University
13.Acharya Nagarjuna University
During the enhanced review period, the processing time for certification applications from these institutions will be extended to no less than 60 working days from the date of submission. Degree holders from the affected institutions are advised to stay in contact with their universities to stay informed about the situation.
We also recommend that international students closely follow announcements regarding enhanced reviews and carefully consider the institutions (and programs) mentioned in these announcements.
