Your Mobile Signal May Be Bad in the Coming Days!
In the coming days, residents may experience disruptions to their mobile services, including difficulties in making calls or accessing the internet. According to netizens' discussions, major telecommunications operators have already issued text message alerts to subscribers about the expected disruptions.
Shanghai Mobile has informed its customers that high-power signal jammers will be activated at various examination centers from June 7th to June 9th to ensure the integrity of the national college entrance examinations, known as the Gaokao. These jammers are intended to prevent cheating by blocking electronic communication, which may inadvertently affect the surrounding areas.
Customers are advised to anticipate potential issues such as call failures and internet outages during this period. Normal service is expected to resume immediately after the exams conclude. The operators apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and request understanding and cooperation from the public during these crucial examination days.
