In Chinese, " (shi)" means "to the sun" or "to shine." 


1st meaning:

" (shi tiyang)" means "to bask in the sun." Most people who bask in the sun this year will use some sort of sun protection cream, which is called " (fngshi shung )." " (fng) means "to prevent" or "to guard against.
