Companies and Schools in Hubei Not to Resume Before March 10

Local authorities in Hubei province, the center of the novel coronavirus outbreak, have released and shared a circular ordering a vast amount of companies not to resume business until March 10 in their efforts to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus outbreak.

This demand does not apply to small businesses such as convenience stores as well as any other company whose operations are involved in helping control the epidemic. However, those resuming business operations must follow the anti-epidemic guidelines that have been put forth to ensure the safety of their employees.

All of Hubei's education institutions, including universities, colleges, middle and primary schools, vocational schools, technical schools and kindergartens have been requested to continue postponing their classes until further notice.

The circular also urges the public to minimize outdoor activities, avoid social gatherings and clean their home as often as possible to ensure their own safety. Anyone walking outside without wearing a mask may face legal actions.

In the meantime Stay safe, everyone!
