Among the 29 foreign nationals in China who have been infected by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), it was reported that 18 of them have already recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
10 of those 18 patients were being treated and recovered in Guangdong province.
While more cases among Chinese nationals continue to rise, no new confirmed or suspected cases of foreign nationals have been reported as of 12 PM on Wednesday, according to a press briefing by Guangdong provincial government officials.
9 patients remain quarantined and undergoing treatment in their respective hospitals, while the remaining 2 who had been infected have unfortunately died from the disease.
