A passersby in Wuxi city, Jiangsu province recently found a small white dog hiding in a cement pipe out on a field barking in distress after getting its forelegs stuck in a trap.
Firefighters were called in an emergency to care for the dog and get him out safely, which turned out to be more delicate than anticipated.
The pain, together with his fear of strangers getting too close, made it difficult for the firefighters to get the dog out.
The only solution was to show patience and affection so as to not agitate him any further and aggravate its injury.
After a while, the little white dog gave in and allowed the firefighters to pull him out of the pipe so they could remove the trap he had gotten himself trapped in.
But as the firemen began to drove away, the little white dog found the energy and will to get up and chase after their truck, limping with its injured forelegs to show appreciation for their kind efforts.
