The second China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicks off on Tuesday November 5 and Shanghai is taking all sorts of precautions when it comes to security. In the latest news, there will be a citywide ban on drones starting from 8am on November 2 to midnight on November 11, Shine reports.

In addition to drones, all small, low flying aircrafts will be banned. This includes anything from model aircrafts to light helicopters.
According to police, the ban is in place to ensure that the citys airspace is safe during the high profile expo. Anyone who breaks the law may have their device confiscated or even face criminal punishment.

The second CIIE runs from November 5-10 at the National Convention and Exhibition Center.
