At about 12:10 on October 27th, a woman climbed over a railing near the escalator of T2 terminal in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and tried to commit suicide.....
Save Her, No Matter What


The news staff learned that the woman wanted to jump over the railing from the departing floor, which was more than 10 meters above the ground due to a family dispute. Ye and Chen, who were officers on patrol at that time, immediately reported it to the duty room and organized a rescue. Considering that their equipment may have not been effective, the two officers decided catch her with their bare hands.We will catch her directly, no matter if we get hurt or not.



Just as Chen finished his sentence, the woman suddenly jumped, after she spoke on the phone. Without any hesitation, Ye and Chen immediately came forward, aimed at the landing point, and quickly extended their hands.

Surprisingly, they successfully caught the woman. However, due to the strong impact, Ye was hit in the face and was knocked out. However, he regained consciousness after a few moments.


After an inspection at the hospital, the woman who fell from the building was found to be not injured. Ye, suffered from multiple joint contusions of his cervical spine, lumbar and knee, accompanied by a concussion. Chen also suffered from multiple contusions. As of now, both of them are currently under observation in the hospital.
