The chill, cold air is around as autumn slowly creeps its way back into our weather forecasts.

The north wind blew in Beijing last night, bringing temperatures down a few degrees and will remain around the same levels over the next 3-4 days.


People are reminded to wear warmer layers after dusk falls.


Mohe City, the northernmost city in China, felt its first snowfall of the autumn this year, 25 days earlier than last year, due to strong cold air.


According to the meteorological department, temperatures in Mohe will continue to drop in the next few days, with its lowest hitting around minus 3.


On September 16, the heating department of Mohe City opened its heating bolt ahead of schedule, officially entering the eight-month heating period for the whole city, five days earlier than last year.


The lowest ground temperature in Harbin will drop to -2 or -3.


Cold air has taken this week by storm, gradually affecting the east and northeast of Inner Mongolia as well. Temperatures on the eastern side of the region fell below 20.


Its hard to believe that summer is already almost over  But in Shenzhen, I still feel hot and dry.
